Day 44: A normal guest

This week I've had three guests, no 14 and 15, a German archeologist couple and an Australian nurse. But even with the four of us in the house it's been very calm. Most of the guests are very quiet and considerate. It's almost surprising. The Australian woman asked me if it was okay that she boiled an egg or two. Of course! You can boil as many eggs as you want!

And the regular guest would not even do that, but just make a cup of tea. Sometimes I'm worried that the guests don't really feel at home and that I should do something different to make them more comfortable. Hmm. Or it's just that they want to do things on their own? I know it's not that easy to come to someone else's home and do the things you would in your own home. I for sure wouldn't.

Anyway, it's always interesting to hear what they've experienced. The Germans had been to Jokkmokks marknad, a Sami market in the north of Sweden, which I've never been to. But it was a bit touristy they thought, basically too many Germans...

And the Australian had been snowboarding in Finland and traveling in Scandinavia. She liked seeing snow in the cities. And had noticed that the lamp switches are bigger here than in Australia. Small, but important differences...

Tomorrow I'm looking forward to meet the Koreans and ride toboggan in the slope below the Uppsala castle. If there is enough snow.
