Day 59: Brunch or dinner?

If you haven't downloaded it yet I really recommend the app Airdine. Each day new exciting meals are added, Italian, Hungarian, vegan etc. I hope I'll have time to try one of them soon. But of course I want to arrange something myself. Yesterday I made brunch for some friends with kids, perhaps that could be something? (That's also one reason why I didn't manage to fulfill my goal of at least one blog post per day. First I had fifteen people over for brunch. And then I had to rest before going out to techno clubs all night. So yes, today has been a pretty slow day...)

Among other things I served fried merguezes, salad with beluga lentils and baked pears with goat cheese and almonds. Most popular were the waffels.

Or should I go for a dinner instead? I'm thinking it could be either something very simple, like tomato soup with home made bread. Or something more elaborated. Last week I made slow cooked beef cheeks that turned out very well. And they could be prepared in advance, which is a good thing. What do you think? Any other suggestions?
